Jack and Hitler In the novel, Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, a plane crash on an island, leads to a group of boys trying to survive. Jack is a red-headed boy, tall, and 12 years old. Jack and Hitler are both dictators. They both eliminated people who did not agree with them, limited free speech, and stole power. Jack and Hitler both eliminate people they do not like. In the article, “German Economy in the 1920’s” by Daniel Castillo, Castillo writes, “Hitler killed a lot of Jews to blame for Germany’s problem.” (1). Hitler killed a lot of Jews in death camps. He blamed them for Germany’s problem. Golding writes, “There were no words, and no movements but the tearing of teeth and claws.” (2). Jack encourages the boys to kill Simon. Hitler and Jack are both savages because they kill people who did not agree with them. Jack and Hitler limit free speech. On the page “ushmm.org”, it states, “Once they succeeded in ending democracy and turning Germany into a one-party dictatorship.” (3). Joseph Goebbels took control of all forms of communication in Germany. Hitler was the only one people heard. Golding writes, “The conch does not count at this end of the island.” (2). Only Jack wants his voice heard. He does not care about the conch. Jack and Hitler are both spoiled and selfish. They want everyone’s attention and only want their voice heard. Jack and Hitler steal power from people. On the page “desertnews.com”, it states, “In the summer of 1941 Hitler invaded the Soviet Union”. (4). With the invasion of the Soviet Union, Hitler overreached. He stole land in Europe and kept stealing land and power. Golding writes, “From his left hand dangled piggy’s broken glasses.” (2). Jack stole and broke Piggy’s glasses in order to take survival and fire away from him and Ralph. This weakened Ralph’s power. Jack and Hitler are both selfish and want everything. Jack and Hitler both eliminated people who did not agree with them, limited free speech, and stole power. Jack is Hitler’s clone. They both make bad leaders and want to conquer land, money, and free speech. Works Cited 1. "German Economy in the 1920s." German Economy in the 1920s. N.p., Dec. 2003. Web. 02 June 2016. 2. Childhood Memory

One of my favorite childhood memories is when I went to Avila Beach with my family and uncle. We were all having a great time fishing and catching crabs with a net we had. All of us were under a pier by some rocks. On the other side of the beach, there was a deep cave. The cave gave me goosebumps just by looking at it. It was dark and scary. When I entered the cave with my two brothers, it looked like a cave for bears. When the waves would hit the shore and rocks, you could hear the echoes very loud. We had a bright flash light, so we pointed it at the cave and it looked amazing. It looked like frozen icicles hanging from the top. There was water dripping from them. We were amazed about how the cave looked. Eventually, we weren’t as scared as when we first saw it. When we left the cave, we had to go across the raggedy rocks to go back to our location. On our way back we got to see lots of little crabs and small little fish. There was also little plants that suck things up. Every time I touched it, it would close. We were so tired by the time we got back to our spot. I was wearing white shorts, black shoes, and a blue shirt. The beach smelled like sand, and the salty ocean. It was 1:00 pm. and it was a nice sunny day. We got to see seals close to us by the rocks. We also found two orange, colorful starfish. So far, two hours had passed and we only had caught seven crabs. They were mid-size and good to eat. Just looking at the crabs made my mouth water. I was about 13 years old when we had a great time at the beach. It felt very relaxing and calm just being there with my family. I think this would be a memory I would never forget in my life, neither will my family. When we all headed back home, my mom started to steam the crabs and we all got to eat a very delicious crab. In conclusion, what I learned in life is that money, cars, boats, or expensive things aren’t important, what is important in life is your family, you’re never going to lose your family in life. Before you know it by the time you get old you feel like everything went by like a flash.

Reflection

What I knew about China before this unit is nothing. What I think now is, China is a very poor country. They are a poor country because they sell their products and goods very cheap to the United States. I would consider visiting to see how their lifestyle is over there. I would want to go to work to see how much they struggle to make a living.
What I thought about the prezi idea was that it was entertaining and new. I would try it in the future to get a good impression and nice job that pays well. It was working easier with PowerPoint but it's less entertaining. It was hard at first to work with easy bib but then I got used to it. What I would have done differently is make my presentation more entertaining and new.

Disastrous car crash

Disastrous car crash
Adolfo Gonzalez is funny and average size. He has black hair and brown skin. He also likes sky jumping, basically any ride that gets your adrenaline pumping. He has a serious face and looks mean but he's not.
But a long time ago Adolfo suffered a disastrous car crash. He was racing with one of his cousin's on the freeway going to Newcuyama. His cousin and him were racing fine until Adolfo lost control on a turn, that's when everything went bad. He started rolling off the freeway and rolled into the border of a fence. Once the work truck stopped rolling, it landed onto a grass area on the side of the freeway. Adolfo's cousin came out of his truck shocked and scared. His cousin was trying to look for him, but he couldn't find him until he started yelling for help.
It turned out Adolfo flew out of the truck when it was rolling. Adolfo was bloody and with scares all over his arms. His cousin was afraid he wasn't going to live, he called the ambulance and they came as fast as possible. His cousin and family were waiting in a room worried and sad. When the doctor came to tell the news, Adolfo's family got up quick and curious. The doctor said," Adolfo is going to be fine, but the bad news is he lost his memory." Adolfo's family was happy and relieved, It took time but luckily he got his memory back.

Disobeyed

Many years ago, the world was different. The world was beautiful and calm. There were no crime scenes or bad people. Nowadays, there are criminals and bad things happening. This all started when humans were tired of listening to their god. The god's name was Joseph.

The humans were out of control and Joseph was furious. Joseph was battling against the humans. It was like a big riot. The whole city was falling apart. It was like hell. Until Joseph decided to pause the whole city. Joseph made the people freeze but let them hear.

Joseph gave them a speech so they would listen to him before he let the humans go. Joseph said, "You humans need to calm down and listen, There's no reason for you to go crazy just because you want everything." Joseph also said, "Everyone is equal, no one is perfect." The humans got the point, so Joseph unfroze them and they stopped destroying the city. Finally, Joseph put everything back how it was and the humans obeyed their god. Everyone was and is living happily this way.
